As mothers, we hold a profound role in this unfolding. The cycle is not just about managing bleeding, it is an ongoing tool and teacher. Through it, we can guide our daughters into body literacy, help them develop healthy boundaries, support their emerging sexuality, and nurture their sense of self-worth.
And with that comes our own initiation. This conversation is about deepening the mother's role, learning how to listen, respond, and navigate this responsibility with clarity, discernment, and care. It is about expanding our capacity to walk beside our daughters as they step into womanhood, while recognising that this too is a rite of passage for us.
This gathering also offers space for open Q&A, a chance to bring your nuanced questions, hesitations, and curiosities.
