Cristy Russell is a trauma-informed somatic embodiment practitioner and women’s facilitator devoted to supporting women in the return to embodied selfhood through the relational intelligence of the body.
Her path has taken her from leadership within traditional systems to facilitating transformational spaces where women are invited to slow down, soften and reconnect with themselves. Drawing on years of study in somatic embodiment, nervous system regulation, pelvic integration, Eros and women’s development, she believes the body is not something to fix or overcome, but a living source of intelligence that continually offers guidance, insight and direction.
Through a mythosomatic lens, Cristy explores the relationship between the stories women carry, the patterns held within the body and the deeper wisdom that emerges when both are given space to be heard. She creates spaces where women can listen more deeply to the relational intelligence of the body, restoring connection with themselves and allowing that wisdom to shape how they live, lead and relate.
Cristy understands midlife and perimenopause as a significant turning point in a woman’s life. A deep transitional integration point that is a doorway into a new way of being. As the body changes, it asks to be listened to differently. Symptoms become messengers, the nervous system becomes a guide and the body’s wisdom begins to reveal a new way of living. Rather than resisting this season, she invites women to meet it with curiosity, compassion, reverence and aliveness, discovering the wisdom that can only emerge through the body itself.
Her work is grounded, compassionate and deeply embodied, offering women the opportunity to remember that the body is not simply where healing happens, it is where wisdom lives.
